The awaited white-ball series between England and South Africa may be jeopardised following CSA’s member councils’ meeting on Friday. Following the meeting, the interim leader of the board said the series is under threat as the members failed to pull out any decision.
“I don’t know what the thinking is in England, but I have no doubt that if the members council doesn’t take a proper decision this evening England will probably be seriously discouraged from coming,” Zak Yacoob told during a press conference.
Zak Yacoob, appointed by country’s sports minister Nathi Mthethwa was held with the responsibility to lead the interim board on October 30.
England team is due to arrive in South Africa for the three-match ODI and as many T20I matches starting November.
