Brisbane Heat rules out skipper Chris Lynn for six Big Bash League (BBL) matches owing to the cricketer’s injury. Lynn has to miss out on six matches due to the hamstring injury he suffered giving during the match against Adelaide Strikers at the Gabba on Wednesday.
After losing to the Strikers by only 2 runs, the news of Lynn’s injury was a major jolt to the team. Brisbane Heat has been already struggling to win a match this season, having faced three consecutive losses. During their tough time, Lynn’s absence will make it tougher for them.
“He’s one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket so he’s going to be a miss to any team he’s in,” Heat’s import Joe Henly said on the skipper’s absence.
Brisbane Heat is hoping for the hitter’s return by January 14 for their face-off against the Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium.
