Brisbane Heat on Friday signed a deal with the all rounder James Bazely for the 10th edition of the Big Bash League. The versatile all rounder inked a six-year long deal with the club which will span until 2027-28 season in the league.
“The Brisbane Heat have signed Redlands allrounder James Bazley for the BBL|10 Season, bringing full circle a six-year journey to a full Big Bash League contract with the team in teal,” the club said in a statement.
Heat’s head coach Darren Lehmann augmented the elegant all rounder has impressed the entire team management of Heat.
“James has certainly had to overcome a few challenges to get to this point, but we know he is a resilient character and a skilled player of enormous potential, and we’re looking forward to helping him showcase his skills and helping the Heat do really well this year,” Lehmann said in a statement.
Brisbane Heat will start their BBL 10 campaign against Melbourne Stars on December 11 at the Manuka Oval.
