Cricket Australia (CA) on Friday postponed all its three major National championships to the next season. National Cricket Inclusion Championships (NCIC), National Indigenous Cricket Championships (NICC) and Australia Country Cricket Championships will now be conducted next year.
The board was forced to take the call considering the factor of travel restrictions and the unduly pressure on the players and staff members.
The decision has been taken by coordinating with the government and health ministry’s advice and the consultation of state and territory associations.
All the three tournaments is very significant in players’ development in Australia across the state and territories.
