Cricket Fraternity on Friday took to the social media to show their condolences for the once who lost their lives in the plane crash in Kerala.
Star Indian cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma expressed their grief on the tragic incident as so many people including the pilot lost their lives. The crash took place at the Karipur Airport in Kozhikode, Kerala on Friday. Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to his Twitter handle as he posted: “Praying for those who have been affected by the aircraft accident in Kozhikode. Deepest condolences to the loved ones of those who have lost their lives.”
Legendary Sachin Tendulkar also took to social media to offer his condolences to the ones who lost their lives by posting: “Praying for the safety of everyone onboard the #AirIndia Express Aircraft that’s overshot the runway at Kozhikode Airport, Kerala. Deepest condolences to the families who have lost their near ones in this tragic accident,”
India’s limited overs Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma also tweeted, as he reacted on the incident by posting: “Praying for the passengers and the staff on the #AirIndia flight in Kozhikode. Shocking news,”
Atleast 21 people were killed in the Air India plane crash which had almost 190 passengers on board. The flight crashed on the runway and broke into two pieces while landing.
