Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav grabbed all the headlines after the BCCI released the squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The domestic star batsman has been in a terrific form from the last few seasons and also leads Mumbai team.
The man in form has been one of the mainstays of the Mumbai Indians this season helped the side defeat RCB by 5 wickets on Wednesday.
Yadav scored an unbeaten 79* off 43 balls and steered his side to a clinical win at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
However, there was one such incident during MI’s chase when in 13th over, Suryakumar Yadav struck Dale Steyn for three consecutive boundaries.
Opposition skipper Virat Kohli fielded and went straight towards Yadav after a dot ball off the last delivery of the over. RCB skipper stared at him constantly but Yadav didn’t lose his temper, instead kept his cool and stared back.
It was a clear that Yadav not only won the game but also left a statement in front of the RCB skipper and his fans. He also ensured that the incident doesn’t break his composure and run came at regular intervals until he took them home.
Mumbai Indians are at the top of the team standings, with 8 wins and 16 points so far. They still have a couple of games left with a cemented place in the playoffs.
