Mumbai Indians’ newly acquired pacer Trent Boult is really excited to be part of the defending champions in the IPL 2020.
The 13th edition of the IPL will kickstart with the clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on September 19 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Boult is likely to spearhead the Mumbai Indians pacer attack in the absence of the veteran bowler Lasith Malinga. Earlier, Malinga had pulled out of the IPL 2020 owing to his “personal reasons” leaving the pit in the squad.
Boult has said that he is really looking forward to playing for the side in the UAE as he said: “I have played a little bit of cricket here, I am aware that conditions can change quite drastically depending on the time of the year. I am hoping for good wickets really and we if are clear on our plans, we have the arsenal to outperform any opposition,”
“I am very excited to be part of this bowling pack, there is a lot of diversity in this group, we have bowlers who have performed right throughout the world,” he added.
