England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Wednesday named Jason Roy in England’s squad for the ODI series against Australia. The series will have three matches taking place at the Old Trafford Ground starting from September 11.
Jos Buttler who missed the third T20I match of the series will be joining back for the One-day International series. While Jason Roy, who was left out due to his left side injury will be a part of the squad. Dawid Malan has been named as one of the reserves of the side after a good run with the bat in the T20I series. He scored 129 runs in the three-match T20I series and also moved to number 1 spot in the T20I batsmen rankings.
Joe Denly was named as a reserve has returned to his team Kent for the Vitality T20 Blast. Eoin Morgan didn’t play the final T20I but he will be leading the side in the ODI series.
