Indian wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha on Sunday praised the former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni by saying that he is blessed with natural wicketkeeping skills.
In an interview with Deep Dasgupta Saha said, “I always felt that Mahi Bhai is more natural wicketkeeper compared to others. I befitted a lot just by talking to Mahi Bhai.”
When Deep Dasgupta asked Saha that how he remember Dhoni as a person on that he said, “Whenever we are on tour, I never used to talk to hi in his room as he loves to play PlayStation and I never disturbed him but whenever we were on field I used to ask him many things and we used to discuss that how can we face different teams. And when I was the part of CSK at that time also, we interacted a lot.”
After Dhoni took retirement from his test career, he created an opportunity for a player like Saha and Rishabh Pant.
“He never felt that he should not practice as he is not playing for the team because Mahi Bhai was there but he always keeps practising like he will be playing the next game and this is what kept him going, I was ready to wait for my time and capitalize on it.” Saha said.
MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket by posting a video on his Instagram account on Saturday. Dhoni’s retirement shook the entire cricket fraternity especially his fans who had no idea about his sudden decision.
Dhoni wrote from his official Instagram account, “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout, from 1929 hrs consider me Retired.”
However, Dhoni will continue to be the part of Chennai super kings but it is still really hard to accept the fact that we will never be seeing him again playing wearing a blue jersey.
