Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday confirmed that national team’s test skipper Mominul Haque tested positive for COVID-19.
The batsman reported of mild symptoms of coronavirus after taking COVID-19 test on Monday. A few hours later, the doctor confirmed the symptoms with a positive report of the deadly virus.
”Mominul is corona positive and he was having little symptoms,” Dr. Debashish told reporters on Tuesday.
This comes ahead of the Bangabandhu T20 tournament scheduled to begin in the final week of November.
The veteran batsman spoke after testing positive for the virus staying at his home and serving isolation.
”I came to know about the result yesterday and since isolated myself in the house. There is not much symptom… it is only that I was having little fever that I am carrying even today,” he stated.
