India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma broke the social media with a heart-warming Instagram post on Monday. Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajedh turned 33 on Monday (December 21) as the batsman shared some adorable pictures with her on Indtagram.
Rohit is currently in Australia and serving a mandated quarantine before joining the Indian team for the remaining Test series. The explosive batsman posted as many as five pictures on Instagram, tagging his wife Ritika and captioning, “Happy birthday darling, love you forever @ritssajdeh“
The couple the tied knot back in December 2015 and they were blessed with a lovely daughter three years after their marriage in 2018.
Rohit Sharma had headed back to India just after helping his team Mumbai Indians win their fifth title in the Indian Premier League in the UAE. During the tournament he met a fatal hamstring injury ruling him out of the white-ball series against Australia.
He joined the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for the rehabilitation until declared completely fit for the Test series against Australia.
While he returns to the Indian team, regular skipper Virat Kohli heads back to India as he is expecting the birth of his first child with his wife Anushka Sharma.
In Kohli’s absence, Rohit Sharma will be one of India’s vital cog and probably their solution to the batting woes that cost the first Test at Adelaide.
