Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday revealed their jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The franchise took to its official Twitter handle to reveal the new jersey with a caption:
“Time to don the Red and Gold Face the challenge and #PlayBold Onto the battlefield we stride With all our might and all our pride!”
This time around, Virat Kohli and his men would be looking to turn the fortune by winning the title. They have not been able to win a single title since the inaugural season in 2008.
The side had reached the UAE on August 23 and also started off with their practice session on Sunday i.e., August 30. Players were seen wearing golden helmets as the team director Mike Hesson said it looks highly pleasing. The new jersey also has golden stripes at the end of their t-shirts which also looks attractive.
This year, the side will highly depend on skipper Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and pacer Navdeep Saini. As per the sources, RCB will face Mumbai Indians in the first match of the season on September 19.
