The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has been hospitalized after feeling dizzy and complaining of serious chest pain during a workout session. He was admitted to Woodlands Hospital on Saturday, where it was revealed that he has a cardiac issue. Ganguly suffered from chest pain on Friday and was went to get the tests done on Saturday.

Ganguly suffered from a mild cardiac arrest and will undergo angioplasty to fix the issue in the inferior wall of the heart as revealed by the scans. He underwent all the Tests including ECG and EEG at the hospital.
The BCCI secretary informed that Ganguly’s condition is stable now and prayed for his speedy recovery.
The doctors have confirmed that the BCCI president will be fine and discharged soon after the treatment.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee also conveyed her regards for the speedy recovery of the former Indian team captain.
