Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with his long-time fiancée and Youtuber Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday. It was his teammate Shikhar Dhawan who took to his social media handle and uploaded a picture with the bride and groom captioning, “Congratulations @yuzi_chahal23 and @dhanashree9 , wish you a Happy married life together!”
Soon after the picture surfaced on the internet, best wishes erupted from all over wishing prosperity to the couple after their marriage.
A few hours later even Chahal shared a picture with Dhanashree with a caption:
“22.12.20 We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”
Soon after helping the Indian team defeat Australia and win the T20I series by 2-1, Chahal headed back from Australia since he is not in the Test team.
The couple had announced their engagement on August 8 as Chahal uploaded a picture with Dhanashree with a caption: “We said “Yes” along with our families❤️ #rokaceremony”
After that he went to the UAE to play in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League and represented Royal Challengers Bangalore. He took a total of 21 wickets in the IPL at an economy rate of 7.67.
