CCH vs DD: The 37th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 will be played between Chattogram Challengers and Dhaka Dominators at the Sher-E Bangla Stadium, Dhaka. Both the teams are already out of the qualifier race and will be playing only to consolidate their lost pride.
Chattogram Challengers are at the bottom of the points table with only 2 wins under their belt in the last 10 games played. Almost every team has defeated Chattogram Challengers in the tournament except Dhaka Dominators. Their last win against Dominators will boost their confidence in the upcoming match.
Challengers played their last game against Comilla Victorians and faced a humiliating defeat by 6 wickets. They never went off to the flier and the wicket kept falling at regular intervals. Atif Hussain (66) and Usman Khan (52) were the top performers of the side and did the bulk of scoring for the team taking the total to 156 in 20 overs. The target was easily chased by Comilla Victorians with one over to spare. Mh. Rizwan was the top scorer, scoring 61 runs off 47 balls.
On the other hand, Dhaka Dominators played their last match against Rangpur Riders and lost the match by 2 wickets. Dhaka Dominators batted first and scored 130 runs in 20 overs, thanks to the Riders’ bowling unit that didn’t leak easy runs throughout the innings.
Rangpur Riders also didn’t have a great start losing its opener on a duck. Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals, but skipper Nurul Hasan stood against the tides and played a match-winning knock of 61 runs of just 33 balls that included 3 gigantic sixes and 7 blazing boundaries. In the end, the result went in favour of Rangpur Riders.
