In the eighth over, he removed Rithik Easwaran and Sonu Yadav in a matter of seconds, leaving Nellai wobbling at 62 for six. Subramanyan single-handedly won the title for his team with this outstanding performance.
Suresh Kumar generated a solid foundation in the first innings with his careful yet powerful knock of 57 runs from 33 balls. Also, Mukilesh provided steady support at the other end, carefully collecting runs without taking unnecessary chances, finishing his innings unbeaten at 51.
Meanwhile, Atheeq-ur-Rahman finished with a bang, smashing a quick half-century off just 21 balls. Nellai’s poor fielding cost them as the lead for Kovai Kings moves above the 200-run mark.
