New Zealand has regained the number one position in the ICC Team Rankings after England suffered a 3-0 loss against Australia in the, recently concluded, ODI series.
Earlier, in September, England had surpassed New Zealand to take the top spot. But a disappointing series in Australia meant the blackcaps are back at the top.
Australia, on the other hand, has surpassed Pakistan to reach the number four position in the rankings. Aussies have now an equal number of points with India, who are the third place. But, overall the Men in Blue have more points than the Yellow Army.
As it stands, New Zealand now has 114 points to their name, while England has 113. At number three is India with 112 points and Australia at four with an equal number of points.
Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh are sitting at number fifth, sixth, and seventh positions with 107, 100, and 92 points respectively.

In reply, England was bundled out for just 142 runs. Jason Roy (33 off 48) and James Vince (22 off 45) got starts but, other than that, there was no contribution whatsoever. Adam Zampa starred with the ball for Australia, picking 4 for 31 in 5.4 overs.
