Australia Cricket Schedule 2023-24 Highlights:
- The men’s Team will play against West Indies and Pakistan.
- The women’s Team will face West Indies and South Africa at home.
- The women’s Team will play a one-off Test against South Africa Women.
Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday announced the jam-packed cricket schedule for 2023-24 Summers for both Men & Women’s teams. Australia men’s and women’s summer will commence in October this year and will run through February mid-2024. Both teams will welcome a number of teams for home tourney including South Africa, West Indies, and Pakistan. Meg Lanning and Co. will begin their tourney on October 1 against West Indies for the three-match T20I series, followed by as many ODI matches in Brisbane and Melbourne.
They next face South African women after entering 2024 starting January 27 at Manuka Oval and Hobart for the T20I series. South Africa will also play three ODI matches from February 3. The series against South Africa will also comprise a one-off Test at Perth from February 15-18, 2024.
On the other hand, Men’s team will first welcome Pakistan in December for a three-match Test series starting December 14. Australia and Pakistan will also be engaged during the Boxing Day Test which will be their 2nd Test match of the series. Upon the series culmination, West Indies is set to visit Australia for a two-Test, three ODIs and as many T20Is set to begin from January 17.
