The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has launched England’s new T20I jersey for both Men and Women’s teams will now don the newly embedded jersey from their respective upcoming T20I series. Notably, the Men’s T20I side is the incumbent World Champions as they clinched the 2022 title in Australia.
The newly introduced T20I jersey has a significant motive. The motif of the jersey is dynamic and has future elements that signify the glory of England cricket. Furthermore, the unique jersey has the England Cricket’s Three Lions majestic logo to the right and an England Cricket Crest with a crown and a lion pattern towards the bottom.
The International cricket tourney will get underway in June. For England men’s team, they will host Ireland for a one-off Test in the first week of June and then battle it out against the arch-rivals Australia in a five-match Ashes series. Post the Ashes, England will face off against New Zealand in a four-match T20I series. This is likely when the team will first be seen in their new jersey.
England’s women’s team will be hosting Australian Women’s team for a one-off Test match beginning on June 22 at Trent Bridge. Post the one-off Test match, England and Australia will have a face-off in the three-match T20I series. The Women’s team is expected to feature in the new Jersey from this series.
