AFG vs BAN ODI: The third and final ODI between Bangladesh and Afghanistan ended in an incredible win for Bangladesh, sparing them from a series sweep. Bangladesh completed the chase of a small 127-run total in just 26.3 overs.
After winning the toss, Afghanistan chose to bat first but found it challenging to get into a flow. Star bowler for Bangladesh Shoriful Islam delivered an outstanding effort, taking a career-high 4-21.
Afghanistan’s lowest ODI score against Bangladesh was set when he bowled them out for a poor 126 runs in 45.2 overs. Although, Azmatullah Omarzai provided some challenges with his first ODI fifty.
In response, Bangladesh retaliated by starting their pursuit quickly and aggressively. Their bowlers set the tone right away by holding Afghanistan to a tight 15/4. Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam made a strong impact with two wickets each.
